About Me

I’m Anastasis Petrellis, an audio engineer based in Belgium. My work spans across sound design, music production, mixing, mastering, audio postproduction, podcasts, and audio restoration — covering every stage of the audio process from concept to delivery.

I’ve been involved with music and sound from a very young age, first as a musician, in the studio and on stage, which led me to audio engineering. Over the past ten years, I’ve worked on short and feature films — both fiction and documentary — as well as in music, experiences that shaped my path into professional audio engineering.

I hold a Master’s degree in Film Studies from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specialising in film sound and music, and I’m currently pursuing a PhD in sound design for horror films. I have also been trained in Music Production at the Berklee College of Music and Audio Mastering at the London Academy of Music Production.

Working with industry standard tools like ProTools, LogicPro X, and the iZotope RX suite supports me in delivering broadcast-ready and release-ready results.

Whether I’m shaping immersive atmospheres for film, polishing a mix for release, or collaborating on a new podcast, I approach each project with a balance of technical precision and creative instinct, always focused on sound that resonates.

Based in Leuven and Brussels but working with clients worldwide, I bring together musical experience, academic insight, and professional training to deliver audio that is powerful, reliable, and emotionally engaging.
