My name is Anastasis Petrellis, and I was born in Thessaloniki. I hold a Bachelor/Integrated Master from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Fine Arts, School of Cinema, where I graduated in 2019. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD at the same university, focusing on sound design for horror films, a journey I began in 2020.

I have been working in the field of sound design since 2014, and over the years, I have become proficient with industry-standard tools such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and Izotope RX. My dedication to the craft has been recognized with the “Best Sound Design” award for the film Durckness at the International Athens Fantasy Festival.

My portfolio includes work on short and feature films, both fiction and nonfiction, as well as corporate videos, advertisements, and educational videos. In addition to sound design, I have scored several short films, composed and performed music for silent films, and have been actively involved in various music collectives. Notably, I have composed, produced, and performed live with the alternative rock band “Jane Doe.”

Currently residing in Belgium, I continue to pursue my passion for sound design and music. I am always excited to collaborate on new projects and bring unique audio experiences to life. Let’s work together to create something amazing!
